Have you bought your first Mac book Pro and wanted to do a print screen but there is no print screen button in Mac keyboard.
there are few simple ways of doing it in Mac OS X
Just follow below steps

•  Full screen capture:

1. Switch to the window screen where you want to capture a screenshot
2. Press Apple key ⌘ + Shift + 3 and just release all keys
3. You should find a screenshot image at your desktop. 

• Portion of screen capture:  Screen capture for a portion of window screen.

1. Switch to the window screen where you want to capture a screenshot
2. Press down Apple key ⌘ + Shift + 4 and just release all keys
3. You should see a mouse cursor changed to ‘+’ and then you
4. can start to drag your mouse to select the portion you want to capture.
5. You should find a screenshot image at your desktop. 

• How to capture a particular window screenshot when multiple windows are opened:

just follow below steps to take screenshot for a particular app window

1. Switch to the window screen where you want to capture a screenshot
2. Press down Apple key ⌘ + Shift + 4 and just release all keys
3. You should see a mouse cursor changed to ‘+’ and then you just press the space bar to change the cursor to a camera mode.
4. Now select the app window to capture that particular window screenshot
5. You should find a screenshot image at your desktop.
